Summer season means smoothie season, well for me anyway! When its warmer temperatures its the best way to cool things down while still getting all the nutrients in my body!
I always love a good berry mix in a smoothie, packed with extra fiber and on the lower glycemic range for fruits.
What you need:
1 cup of frozen cauliflower
1/2 of frozen berries
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
2 tbsp hemp seeds
1 tbsp ground flax
1 cup of Raw Milk (or you can use almond or cashew for dairy free)
Purely Elizabeths Vanilla Blueberry Almond Cereal (optional)
What to do:
Add all your ingredients into the blender until well-mixed. Top off with some crunchy granola to help add some texture but also keep you from drinking it too quickly!
