Recipe: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein balls

If you are a cookie dough fan then this one is you for! And if you're not, you might just become one.


These protein balls are a quick on-the-go bite, with a balance of protein, fat, and fiber so they make great for a quick little bite when you need it.


It's just sweet enough without being overly sweet so whether you have a sweet tooth or not, this will be one for you!


What you need:

1 cup of oats

6 pitted dates

1/2 cup water

1 scoop of vanilla protein powder

1 tbsp nut butter

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 cup flax meal

1/4 cup shredded coconut

heavy dash of cinnamon

1/4 cup of dark chocolate chips


What you need to do:

Mix everything into a blender or food processor except your chocolate chips. Blend until dough-like. Dump the dough into a bowl and add in your chocolate chips.


Take a spoonful and roll the dough into balls and keep in the fridge.


Best enjoyed chilled but after the initial fridge, they will be good on the go for a few hours.
